The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF) is a collective organization overseeing two prominent institutions: the de Young Museum and the Legion of Honor. It is dedicated to preserving and presenting diverse art collections, fostering cultural education, and engaging the community through exhibitions and programs.

Mission

The Nekate project is all about creating a wellness brand that could build a meaningful ritual-like, edible experience. With simple ingredients, this would be a product that encourages the user to engage in fantasy to foster holistic healing. The products are inspired by mythology, art history, and sustainable choices. The user experience and process was kept in mind by creating large bottles, affordable takeaway tonics found with regular grocers, and a matchbox to light the candles below to begin the brew. It’s a brand that’s meant to feel magical and purposeful, encouraging thoughtful self-care. As more of a fantasy product, this became a fun passion project that served as an expressive outlet I enjoyed!
